(Category) (Category) Brian's BitTorrent FAQ and Guide : (Category) Installing BitTorrent

There are a multitude of clients available for the BitTorrent, because unlike some peer to peer applications (such as Kazaa), the BitTorrent implementation is open source. This means that programmers are free to take the source code to the program and modify it, if they feel there is something they'd like to change.

Of course, this means that some of the clients are fully-tested and polished while others are rough or lacking features. Please keep this in mind when experimenting with an unknown BitTorrent program.
